Villy Tokarev Comes To New York
In celebration of the WWII Victory Day
A solo performance of the legendary Russian-American composer and singer Villi Tokarev dedicated to WWII veterans and Holocaust victims, in remembrance of millions of people who lost their lives in the Second World War.
The performer, Villi Tokarev, a child of the War himself, is turning 80 this year.
Mr. Tokarev has released 24 albums in the USA and Russia. He is a performer, an author of music and lyrics, and an arranger of music at the same time. In 2004 he released an album “I loved you”, which was highly evaluated by the great musicians of the world and genuine music lovers. Robert Farnon, the greatest musician of our time who worked together with Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennet, called Tokarev “the master voice”.
