About
In addition to the Piano Competition, the New York Piano Festival will present exciting concert programs on June 5th and June 11th with world-renowned performers: Sergey Antonov (cello), Ilya Kazantsev (piano), Artur Kaganovskiy (violin), and Arthur Haas (harpsichord). Open Master Classes and Students’ Concerts will be presented on June 18th and June 25th.
The competition will consist of two rounds—a preliminary round of performances through YouTube, Vimeo, etc. and a second live round at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music. Students will be able to compete in two divisions based on age (category I: 12-17, and category II: 18-25). Each division will have six winners. On July 1st, winners of each division (12 performers total) will be presented at the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall for a Gala Concert and award ceremony.
